A learning experience

Each day is an opportunity to add to your knowledge base. This doesn't necessarily involve attending a formal class in history or mathematics. It is what you learn from the day to day events in your life. If you question the occurrence of learning in your life, start your day by declaring your openness to learning during the next 24 hours. You don't have to be specific as to what that will look like. Just be mindful of when a new learning comes to you. Yesterday alone I learned about a new job a friend is starting. I went to a new restaurant and most likely won't be returning there again. (There is something to be said about the reviews that people write in Yelp). I learned that spending time with a true friend is one of the best uses of a Sunday. The learning doesn't have to earth shattering. It is simply integrating new information into your life to help you on your journey. At the end of your day, take stock of what you learned. Some people give themselves mental reminders while others keep a journal. Do what feels right for you. At the end of today, what will your list of learnings be?
