A little kindness goes a long way

There are times when we are faced with situations that seem to test our patience and understanding. I recently found myself in such a situation. It seemed to be Murphy's Law acting on all fronts. I decided that this was a good situation for which to enlist the power and support of the Universe. The good news is that each organization that was involved was quick to acknowledge and accept their errors. They were willing to do whatever it took to resolve the matter and never argued a request that I would make regarding that resolution. Had my ego been involved, I am sure it would have taken a completely different direction. Whenever I would feel frustration, I would ask for guidance and the next step would become clear to me. When I spoke to someone about the entire process, I realized that, if I treated people along the way with dignity and respect, then I would hope the same courtesy would be extended to me when I made a mistake. I believe it will since I am human and DO make mistakes. When I remove myself from making a deep negative investment in such a situation, I am able to step back and see the marvel of how the Universe works in my behalf. This is a good example of how we can let go and let God. What have you done today to demonstrate kindness in a difficult situation?
