Believe it or not

I talk to people who read my blog and they tell me that this is not reality. I don't argue their point because it is not THEIR reality. We are each free to choose how we proceed in life and to live the consequences that accompany those choices. This includes what we believe. Beliefs change as we gather new information. There was a time when the majority of the people on this planet believed that the Earth was the center of the universe. We can also hold strong beliefs around the current economy sharing with others how bad things are. What we know in actuality is that more people are employed than not employed and that a number of people are faring quite well with their incomes. We tend to attract that which we focus on. If we have a choice as to how we want our lives to be, wouldn't it make sense to believe in the positives that life has to offer as opposed to living in the negative? I start each day stating that I love my life and then spend the rest of the day receiving evidence of why that statement is true. What do you believe today and do any of your beliefs warrant a change in thinking?
