Finding the drama in our lives
In these days of reality TV shows, we tend to focus on all the drama that accompanies them. We forget that what we are watching is an overly exaggerated version of reality designed to attract large audiences for the purpose of promoting specific products. There can be room for healthy drama in our lives. Drama comes from the Greek word for "action." It includes the actions that we take in response to the range of events in our lives from the birth of a newborn to the death of a parent or spouse. Each event calls for a natural set of responses that indicate that we are attuned to our surroundings. When we look at drama in this manner we can see that it is a necessary part of being alive. What is happening in your life today that calls for drama?
