In the moment
We may hold on to the past as a source of comfort or justification for resentment. We look to the future in hopes of life improving over what it looks like at the moment. Both of these situations are based upon beliefs and perceptions that are like the shifting sands on the seashore. The only reality of time is what we experience in the moment. As soon as this instant passes it becomes the past, only a memory. There is nothing we can do to recapture it or make it different. That is why it is so important to live each moment as fully as possible. Knowing how ephemeral time can be, how do you choose to live it? Is it a moment filled with life and an enthusiasm for what is or is it a moment filled with remorse and pain? You always have a choice. The more you are connected with the Universe, the less likely you are to spend your valuable time in the latter. Think about this very moment. How have you just used it?
