Mindfulness
It is important for us to be aware of our thoughts and how we are responding in the moment. When we are encountering a situation that evokes fear, what thoughts do we entertain that keep us focused on the negative side of the event? Do we seek to generate a quick fix which may only prolong the situation or create a worst case scenario that only takes us further down the rabbit hole? Being mindful will assist us in identifying where we are at the moment in our thinking and redirect our thoughts to ones that are more positive and productive. I have to remind myself at times such as these that I am not alone. All I need to do is plug in to the loving power of the Universe and relief will come my way. I don't have to know in what form that will be; I only have to trust and believe that help will come. It may be in the form of a person, an intuitive sense of direction, or a message in a book I am reading. In this case mindfulness will lead me to the next step ever reminding me that I attract what I believe. What are your thoughts telling you at this moment about an event occurring in your life?
