No time at all

We learn as children that there are a specific number of seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months that mark the passage of time. Yet time is an intangible. You cannot see it, hear it, feel it, taste it, or smell it. We have created the concept of time to reference what is happening in our lives. Our clocks and time pieces only demonstrate a forward movement that we accept as how time functions. Imagine what life would look like if we did not have this in place. How would it be to plan a meeting, know when to arrive at work, or show up for a sporting event? Life would be chaos. And so time allows for order in the universe. We don't always have to have physical evidence for something to be present. Today marks the summer or winter solstice depending on which side of the equator you live. The date of this occurrence has been rather stable for millennia. The seasons are another reminder of the predictability of time. We don't always have to have evidence before us to know that there is a presence that guides us. What else is present in your life today that cannot be explained but is clearly there?
