Nothing to do
We all have times in our lives when we encounter an "I have nothing to do" moment. When such a time occurs, ask yourself how you feel about this situation. Am I bored, relieved, panicked, confused? Once you have identified the feeling, think about what you would do in response to it. If you are feeling bored, do you need to find an activity that you enjoy or one that you have been putting off? If you are feeling relieved, do you need to take advantage of the situation and just relax? If you are feeling panicked, do you need to ask yourself what having unstructured time signifies for you? If you are feeling confused, do you need to take some time to sort out your priorities? Of course there may be other emotions at play. Step back and find out which one it is for you. Allow yourself to be in that moment to learn the lessons it has for you. It may be that you have challenges with inactivity. If you quiet yourself, the answers will come. When was the last time you had nothing to do and what feelings were associated with it?
