Oneness

There is no separation between us and the Universe as a whole. There is an eternal connection that exists between us. When I was growing up I was taught that, when we see ourselves as imperfect as a result of our actions, we separate ourselves from the Source of all love. This may be our belief, but it is not the reality of how the Universe continues to send forth its love to us. The Universe does not abandon us. Think of what would happen if, the first time you misbehaved in your parents' eyes, they would have nothing more to do with you. Human life on the planet would have ended generations ago. The Universe has an even stronger relationship to us than our parents for it does not make judgments or condemnations. We are here to experience that oneness and remain in alignment with it. If the Universe is the source of perfect health, abundance, beauty, and power, then a piece of that resides in each of us. We need to be open as to how to receive those aspects and incorporate them into our lives. What is your understanding of oneness?
