Our universal connection

There is a collective consciousness in the universe available to us at any given moment. This belief is based on the idea that everything that exists does so as pure energy having a common source. Our body is composed of trillions of cells and yet they communicate and cooperate with each other to perform all the necessary bodily functions for us to survive. This is a microcosm of the macrocosm of the Universe. This connection underlies the concepts of prayer and meditation. We are tapping into a universal mind source that responds according to our vibrational energy levels. Scientific studies have been conducted showing the effects of our thoughts and feelings on water and plants. It explains why specific inventions have been created in different parts of the world at approximately the same time with no communication between the inventors. This is what is behind the saying, "An idea whose time has come." It is demonstrated when we experience an event that touches the hearts of millions such as the assassination of a president. On an even more basic level it shows up on the millions of hits on a web site with thousands of comments by viewers. These are everyday evidence of how we are connected, each of us serving as individual transmitters and receivers of energy. It also emphasizes the importance of building a critical mass of positive energy through mutual love and caring to get mankind through its challenges. What evidence do you see of your connection to others today?
