Pardon our interruption
You are engrossed in an activity that you enjoy or one that requires your full attention. From out of nowhere comes something or someone that interrupts that flow. Your first reaction may be one of irritation or frustration. Now you have to stop what you have been doing and attend to what is in front of you. Or you may ask yourself what the message from the interruption is. Perhaps it is a telephone call from a friend you haven't heard from in years. The message is one of reconnection. Or it might be that you break a component needed in a project you are working on. The message reminds you to slow down. What we might at first consider a nuisance can be a gift. It all depends on how open you are to receiving gifts. Think back to the recent interruptions you have experienced and ask yourself what the messages were that accompanied them. You might be surprised at the content and purpose of those messages. What message will you receive from your interruptions today?
