That's not mine anymore

Think of how many times we use the possessive pronoun, 'my,' during our conversations. We tell people about "my money problems," "my health issues," or "my weight problem." What we are telling people is that each of these personally belongs to me. We tend to protect what belongs to us guarding its presence in our lives. Remember that focusing on the 'my' attracts more of whatever condition follows. Is it any wonder that these situations persist? When there are circumstances that you are wanting to change, redirect your focus. Think of what you DO desire in your life. Focus on financial abundance, perfect health, or an ideal weight. What would your life be like with any of these present? How would you feel? What would you be doing? Then release the outcome and allow new circumstances to enter your life. It may be an unexpected check, a newly-discovered treatment for a health condition, or a membership to a health club. You don't have to worry about the specifics of the way in which it will happen for you. Just know that a change will take place. What have you been holding on to with your 'my' and are you willing to release your ownership of it today?
