What's in the box?
You often hear people talking about thinking and acting outside of the box. Before you choose to do so, you might want to begin by looking closely at what's in the box. What is it that constitutes the basis of how you think and act? You can't chart a course for a destination without knowing your current position. Ask yourself what your life is like at this moment. That is what is in the box. What is working and not working for you? Now think about what you would like your life to be if and when you made changes. Allow yourself to think big when you do this. Would you be doing more of what you love? Would you be taking risks that you never thought possible? Would you say, "Yes!" more often to what life has to offer? Ask yourself what it would take for you to move in this direction and choose one action you could take or one new thought you could have about it. Then look back into the box at what was and celebrate your evolution. Of course you have to remember that what was outside the box will eventually be what is in the box as it becomes a part of you.
