What's it worth to you?

When we consider the trials and tribulations of the day, it is important to look at each situation and ask yourself, "What's it worth to me today?" Think about a situation you are experiencing and identify the emotions that accompany it. If you are having financial difficulties, are you feeling hopeless? What price is that emotion costing you in terms of your productivity and ability to focus on solutions to the problem? Ask yourself if the situation is one that is similar to what you have dealt with in the past and what did you do to overcome it. Do you need to take a walk to clear your head and all the chatter that is going on it it? A 20-minute walk can do wonders in shedding light on new ways of approaching problems. Perhaps you need to make a list of resources to turn to for answers. Maybe volunteering to work with someone even more destitute than you are can provide a different perspective. When we are paying a heavy price for staying stuck in our problems there is a simple solution - DO SOMETHING. Any action will help us move out of this frame of mind and into more positive thinking which will attract more positive opportunities into your life. Is what you are going through now worth the price you are paying emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually? What would it take to turn that around for you in a positive way?
