2020 vision
A new year has arrived. One that has never been used before. It is a blank slate upon which you are free to write anything you wish. I no longer write New Year's resolutions for I find that I break them not long after the year begins. Instead I compose a list of intentions that set the tone for the months to come. They serve to guide and motivate me to accomplish tasks that make a positive difference in my life. I check in with my list on a regular basis to determine my progress. The tasks on my list include both professional and personal intentions. They keep me from becoming complacent. One of my intentions for 2020 is to focus on some new area of learning. I can see myself in a classroom with other students mastering a skill that has eluded me in the past. It could be a new language or a specific tool on the computer. What is important is that I enjoy the process and let go of how well I do compared to others in the class. I also have plans to travel to several other countries to see life through their eyes. This is my vision for 2020. And there may be other life experiences that present themselves to enrich my life in the year to come. What is your 2020 vision look like?
