Bigger than you can imagine

I recently watched a television documentary on our current understanding of the universe. In the documentary a simulation of information gathered by scientists portrayed the galaxies as minute particles along a giant weblike structure. The structure is so immense that it cannot be represented in its completeness on a television screen. My mind could only begin to grasp the complexity beneath this concept. The universe is forever expanding meaning that in a trillion years it will have evolved into something very different from what we know today. Yet in this vastness is predictability. We count on the sun coming up each morning and the seasons falling in sequence. I marvel at the magnificence of creation and how change takes place at all levels at every moment in time. This represents the power that supports our very existence. Perhaps, like each of us, the universe will someday be released from its shell to be transformed into its next manifestation. And in this vast expanse you are no less important than its totality. Your magnificence and uniqueness mirror that of the universe and beyond. Think of that as you walk through this day.
