A problem is a gift

There are people who believe that life would be perfect if it was problem free. When I looked up the meaning of the word, problem, one definition stated: A matter or situation regarded as unwelcome or harmful and needing to be dealt with and overcome. If one perceives problems as unwelcome and harmful, it is easy to see why we would want to avoid them whenever possible. Think back to all the problems you have ever had. Did you change as a result of them? What did you learn from each of the situations you encountered? In mathematics, the solutions to problems tend to be absolute especially when adding and subtracting numbers. In life our problems can be countered with multiple solutions. No matter which solution we choose, we will learn something from it. Our learning from our problems is a gift which expands who and what we are. What was the last problem you had and what did you learn from it?
