A winning hand

If you have ever played cards, you know that only one hand wins. That is because we have arbitrarily assigned a value to each card or combination of cards that bests another player's holdings. That may be true for cards, but in life each person holds a winning hand. Imagine each of the cards you hold as a talent or skill. Your hand contains everything it needs to be successful at winning. The number of possible winning combinations is unlimited. It is only when you judge your hand to be a losing one that the game changes. You begin to compare the hand that someone else holds as more valuable than yours and act in accordance to that judgment. They may hold an intelligence or a money card that you see as having a higher value than what you have. You lose sight of the fact that they may be looking at what you hold and wish it was in their hand. Look at the cards you hold today and see how they constitute a winning hand for you based on how you have been using them.
