Alignment
We are hearing more and more about the importance of alignment in our lives. That includes the need for alignment in our chakras which are seven energy points in the body. They affect our emotional and physical well-being. When they are in alignment we feel grounded and secure. When they are out of alignment we experience various physical and emotional conditions such as arthritis or insecurities around our finances. There is also alignment as it relates to the work we do. When we are in alignment we are clear as to who we are and what our purpose is. We are filled with enthusiasm and excitement as we approach the work day and the tasks in front of us. It may not even feel like work. When we are out of alignment we get the Sunday night dreads, that feeling of being pulled down when we say to ourselves, “Tomorrow is Monday. The start of another week of surviving until Friday.” Should this continue long enough, you will likely experience burnout that includes loss of sleep, headaches, hypertension, and depression. It is important to pay attention to the alignments in your life. Without doing so, you deprive yourself of the joy you are here to live. When was the last time you checked in with yourself to see if you were out of alignment? What did you learn when you did so?
