An honor to serve you

When we give from the heart we are being of true service to others. This is a time when our egos are in check. We are connected to the recipient of our service at a heart level. We may do this by listening without judgment, by offering to drive someone to an appointment, or by helping your children with their homework. At work it is about providing service at a level that has your customer eager to return to your place of business. We serve because we see the value in others. Every human being on the planet deserves to be treated and respected as a person with value. This can extend beyond humans to everything that inhabits the world we occupy whether living or nonliving. Think of how our nonhuman cohabitants serve us on a daily basis without question. They provide our drinking water, the materials from which we build our homes, and the food we eat. We have the same opportunity to offer what we have been given knowing that in giving we receive immeasurably. How can you serve those around you today?
