Choosing to leave
Have you ever found yourself in a situation, be it a job or a relationship, that you are unhappy with? Things just aren't working out the way you would have liked them to work. In the workplace you might not be getting the recognition you desire or feel like your supervisor is listening to you. In your relationship your partner does not express appreciation for your contributions or the intimacy is lacking. One decision people often make is to simply leave that situation hoping that the next one will be better. What you have to realize is that while you may be leaving the situation behind, you are taking the old you into the new situation. If you choose to focus on what was lacking previously, you will attract more of the same in what occurs next. The best way to attract what you desire is to focus on the positive aspects of your past experience. Perhaps you learned to become more assertive or a better communicator as a result of this. You will begin to see more of these traits showing up in you as you focus on them leading to an improvement in your next job or relationship. Think carefully before you make that decision to leave. Are you ready to face what results with your current focus or is it time to change how you look at life?
