Cycles

The universe we occupy is constantly going through cycles at every level. These cycles have a beginning, a finite lifetime, and an ending. And from each ending is born a new beginning. This is true of stars, planets, seasons, empires, and people. Yet the energy that accompanies each of these entities extends far beyond these cycles. In some cases we are still exploring the science behind these beginnings. What only matters is that they exist in our reality. I recall attending a funeral service not long ago where someone pointed out that the most important information on a tombstone was the dash between the year the person was born and when he or she died. This represents one of the many cycles present. It is what occurs between the beginning and the ending that appears to have the greatest significance for us. We rarely know how long that dash between dates will be. Each of us is here for a reason and a purpose. In the case of humans, it is how we choose to live out our mortality that makes the greatest difference. How are you honoring your choices within your cycle of life?
