Don't sweat the small stuff

Date:
August 20, 2024

I awoke in the wee hours of Saturday morning to post my blog entry for that day. As I attempted to open my website, I received a message telling me that it was inaccessible. Seven hours later I received the same message. The choice as to how I would react to this was mine. I could stress over it or release the outcome knowing that the problem would eventually be resolved. I chose to release it and took the steps necessary to fix the problem. As Abraham Maslow pointed out," If all that you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail." This means that you most likely won't see things clearly if you only have one mindset. So I pulled out every tool I had and eventually my website was up and running within 36 hours. In the meantime I learned how to backdate a blog entry so that there was still continuity in the postings. The less power we give to a problem, the more likely we are to resolve it in a stress free manner. Think about how many tools you have in your toolbox and be ready to use them all if needed. What have you been sweating the small stuff on lately and what do you need to do to release it?
