Echoes from the Universe

One way to conceptualize how the Universe responds to our desires is to compare it to an echo. On a recent trip to Germany our tour guide played his trumpet and waited for the surrounding hills to echo his notes. Sure enough, the notes returned exactly as he played them until they faded away. The hills didn't make a decision about whether or not he had played the correct notes nor did they vary the tune in any way. Had he played random notes, the hills would not have sorted them out with the message, "I think what notes you meant to play were..." What he sent out was precisely what he received. The Universe responds in exactly the same way. Our thoughts and feelings act as the source of what echoes back to us. That is why it is important for us to be conscious of what those thoughts and feelings are and evaluate what we receive as a result of them. We can then begin to change that which is not working in our behalf. What are you sending out as the source of your echoes?
