Embrace the day

How you approach the day is entirely up to you. There are people who are facing what others may consider to be extreme adversity such as failing health or poverty. Yet these people choose to happily live each day to the best of their ability. And there are those who outwardly seem to have everything going for them in life and still choose to focus on the fear of it being taken away from them. It is how each of them decides to embrace the day before them. Most of us find ourselves somewhere in between those two polarities. It is where we choose to focus our attention that makes all the difference in the world for what we attract that day. Think back to a day when you choose to embrace either the positive or the negative. How did that day unfold for you? One technique for creating a positive day is to practice an attitude of gratitude. Ask yourself what you have to be grateful for and intensify the feelings associated with it. You will likely observe a shift in that direction. Embrace the day knowing that, once it has passed, it can never be recaptured. How will you embrace your day today?
