Expect a miracle
We tend to think of a miracle as an extraordinary event that is considered a sign of divine intervention or a natural phenomenon that is extremely outstanding or unusual. A person who was born blind is suddenly restored to sight. A person who was down to their last dollar wins millions in the lottery. A drought stricken farm receives much needed rain that allows crops to flourish. These events would certainly garner our attention, yet small unnoticed miracles happen every day. A family that was fractured unexpectedly comes together in love and forgiveness. A homeless man is offered a job that will take him off the streets. An abused puppy is taken in by a family who will love and care for him. These are the true miracles that avoid our notice. They fail to make headlines and yet they are headline worthy in making a difference in the world. Have you ever considered that you may have acted in a way that forever changed the life of the recipient of that behavior? In a way, you were a miracle maker. If we are open to it, we can expect miracles to happen in our lives on a daily basis. What was the last miracle you experienced in your life?
