Face the music

With freedom of choice comes acceptance of the consequences accompanying it. Our words and actions may cause harm to both ourselves and others whether intentionally or unintentionally. I can recall a time in my own life when I used sarcasm rather indiscriminately. I later learned that it was rarely about the other person and all about my own feelings of self worth. I found it necessary to change that behavior pattern and offer my sincere apologies to the target of my words. The same was true of my actions. Two of the most powerful words in our language are "I'm sorry" spoken from the heart. Hopefully we can learn from this experience and refrain from saying and doing what harms others. In truth we are doing the most harm to ourselves. Negative behavior such as this only lowers our vibrational levels and prevents us from achieving what we truly desire in life. While it may be uncomfortable at the time, our willingness to face the music and make amends ultimately benefits us. What have you done or said that requires that you face the music to clear the air?
