Happy to be of service

We are all here to be of service to one another. We do this through the unique talents we have received and the skills we have developed. Some of us may be more adept at listening. Some may understand the intricacies of how a computer or a car engine works. Others may perform heart surgery that extends a life for many years. It is up to each of us to identify what we are here to do and pursue it with passion. Many of us have lost sight of what that might be and it takes determination and perseverance to find it. When we take the time to seek out that purpose, its discovery becomes the source of our greatest joy. When my clients ask if there is a job out there excites them so much that they can't wait to start their day, I tell them that there is because I am a living example of what awaits them. It only took a half century to figure out what it was and I don't regret the journey to where I am today. It is in being service to others that I find my greatest joy and satisfaction.
