Hold that thought
Our thoughts hold power. The messages they carry influence the ways in which our lives play out. Earl Nightingale states that we become what we think about. If you had a choice in what those thoughts were like, which would you choose? Imagine waking up and starting your day with thoughts such as, “I can’t wait to see how today will unfold and all the good it will bring” or “I begin my day as a clean slate and fill it with opportunities to grow and prosper.” Then watch to see how the universe delivers on these thoughts. Should any negative thoughts enter your mind, ask yourself what their source is. Then be willing to challenge them by reframing them in the positive. If you think, “Nothing I do seems to matter,” you can replace it with “Even the smallest thing I do can make a difference in the world.” Now watch how your new message affects your day.
