I tried that once
We often hear people say that they had a desire to achieve something and, upon their first attempt, didn't experience success. At that point they made a decision to end their quest believing that one attempt was enough. We know that truly successful people are persistent in reaching their goals and dreams. What would happen if we made a decision to stop learning how to walk when we stumbled and fell when we took those first steps. Thomas Edison had numerous failed attempts to perfect the light bulb. He viewed each of them as a closer approximation to a working invention. This is persistence in the face of perceived failure. If we continue to focus on the end result, we will receive the resources we need to achieve it. It may not occur in the time frame we had originally thought, but it will eventually manifest as this or something better. Write it down, create a vision board, attach emotion to it. Visit it every day knowing that it is becoming closer to reality. If it is truly important to you, don't quit after the first try. What is your dream that would benefit from constant and consistent nurturing?
