If I only knew how

I was recently a guest on a podcast in which the host asked me, "If you had to do it all over at your age knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently?"Thinking back over the years I would have asked many more "how" questions. I would have asked, "How do I want to know what I want to be, do, and have in my life?" "How does one make informed decisions?" "How do I know who to trust?" What I realize today is that my parents were unable to answer those questions. They seemed to struggle to figure out how to navigate through their own lives which appeared to be largely through trial and error. Today I can take responsibility for learning the "Hows" in life. I have the resources to seeking out the answers to what I want to be, do, and have in my life and the vehicles for achieving them. I can ask others what they do to ask informed decisions based on what I see as their success in this area. I am learning to trust my intuition when it comes to trusting others. All I need do is be open to what and who the Universe sends me to answer my Hows. What are the Hows that you struggle with and how has the Universe answered those for you?
