It's just a thought
Our thoughts come and go, oftentimes without us giving much attention to them. It is when we attach meaning to them that they begin to attract what we focus upon. You may notice a bird flying overhead. It is in your mind's eye for a fleeting moment and then ignored unless it presents an out of the ordinary situation. Then there are the thoughts that we spend time with. We may recall a negative event in our lives and try to analyze it from various perspectives or constantly replay it in our mind. This is called ruminating and it can serve only to draw similar situations into our lives. Then there is focusing on positive thoughts such as being with someone we care about or contemplating a positive outcome with a problem we might be having. Whether we choose to focus on positive or negative thoughts, they carry with them the power to manifest. Which do you think serves your best interest?
