It's only a penny
Have you ever walked down the street and noticed a penny lying on the ground before you? What were your first thoughts about it? Were they: "Oh, it's just a penny" or "Wow! I just found a penny!"? I have what I call my Found Money Jar. I began it a number of years ago when I was visiting Kauai and found a number of coins in a parking lot. From then on I decided to set my intention that I find money wherever I go. The jar is now half full (I decided to purchase a very large jar). With every coin and bill I find I remind myself of the message that is carried on it. I believe that there is a greater source in which I can trust and that it provides for me. It is interesting that I don't usually find the money if I am consciously looking for it. It seems to appear most often when I let go of how it will show up. While most of the money I find consists of pennies, I have also found a number of $20 bills. I don't know what I will do with all the money I find, but until I decide what it will be I will use it as a reminder of the abundance and generosity of the Universe. When was the last time you found a penny and what did you do when you saw it?
