Just for fun
Allow for spontaneous fun to enter your life. It may be in the form of deciding to go on a picnic, hiking a nature trail alone or with friends, or being knocked over by the waves at the beach. If your fun involves nature, make sure that you connect with it. Express your appreciation to it for all that it does much as you would to a friend. If you decide to spend the day at an amusement park, let the child within you totally be in the moment as you speed down the hill of a roller coaster or ride the bumper cars in wild abandon. Find an activity that brings you joy and laughter. If you aren't sure what that might be, just observe children playing. They will remind you of what fun looks like. Watch their faces and remember what play was like for you. Look for other playmates for they are all around you just waiting to join in the fun. You will be amazed at how you feel when you are done playing. You will have a renewed sense of energy and free of any cares you might have had. Taking time for fun keeps you healthy. You deserve it.
