Keeping it literal

The Universe does not take time to interpret or analyze our thoughts and words. It simply takes what those are and creates the manifestation that accompanies them. When we kiddingly tell the person who serves us at a restaurant, "That was the worst service I ever had," the Universe responds with poor service. It does not attempt to determine "What you meant to say was...," but fulfills what our words convey. That is why it is important to monitor our words. It doesn't mean we should avoid humor, but it may explain why events are showing up in our life the way they are. Be mindful of what you are putting out to the Universe knowing that our thoughts and words have power. What are some common statements you make that may be affecting what the Universe sends your way?
