Remember the old adage, "God helps those who help themselves?" I think that another way of stating that would be, "God helps those who take action to help themselves." Creating images of what we desire in life is the first step towards manifesting them. Imagine standing in front of a counter full of ingredients required to bake a cake. You can stare at the ingredients for hours and visualize a completed dessert. Will the ingredients transform themselves with only thought present? I doubt it. We have to mix the ingredients in the right proportions, preheat the oven, and then watch the cake in the oven to ensure that it doesn't overbake. Only then does the image take on substance.
