Living on the holodeck

If you are familiar with the Startrek series, you know about the holodeck. This was a large empty boxlike room marked with a grid pattern. An individual would enter the room, close the entry door, and inform the holodeck which program it wanted to have run based on preferences that had been provided. Immediately the holodeck was transformed into whatever reality the crew member desired. It could produce a single room or an entire planet. It was programmed for limitless possibilities. It sounds much like what we do when we create our life. We begin with entering what we desire and watch it manifest itself in some form. Think about it. We have given the Universe our plans for what we will do for a living, whether or not we will be in relationships, and what we will do to maintain our health. Then we proceed to experience what that brings. Like being in the holodeck, you experience all the emotions surrounding the adventure. Otherwise it would just be a series of sensory inputs.
