Living our dreams

Not long ago I had lunch at a resort overlooking the ocean. Before having lunch I accompanied my party to the outdoor area where we could hear the surf and look out over the expansive fog-covered waters. This was a far cry from my home of my childhood back east overlooking plain houses crowded along the narrow brick street. As I walked through the resort I said to myself that this was the life I had dreamed of as a child. Keeping this dream active during my life is what is drawing it to me. I might just as easily kept the image of my hometown as my dream and would most likely be happily living there today. My sister still lives on the same street I grew up on and seems to be perfectly happy there. Each of us holds a different dream. One is no better or worse than the other. We live the life of our dreams knowing that the Universe delivers whatever we focus upon. I also had to have the experiences of my childhood as a contrast to what my life looks like today. We create our own reality. What does that look like for you today?
