Stick with the winners

I recall a time in my life when I attracted people that were emotionally draining for me. I would spend hours talking to them and feel like I had been put through a wringer when we were done. As I looked back on those relationships, I realize that this was my need to fix their lives. What I learned was that they were not ready or perhaps not willing to make those changes to move in what I determined to be a positive direction. I learned that I did not have the right to decide what their lives should look like. I could bless them in my mind and release them to follow their path. Since that time I have decided to spend my time with people who are committed to their own growth. After spending time communicating with these individuals, I feel even more energized and enthusiastic about life. As I do this I am finding more of these people entering my life. These are the people who are living the type of life compatible with how I see myself functioning and contributing to the greater good. I am free to develop the gifts that the Universe has given me to further evolve in my purpose for being alive today. How do the people around you reflect where you want to be in your life today?
