The millionaire

There was a television show that ran from 1955-1960 titled The Millionaire. In each episode the wealthy donor would anonymously give one million dollars tax free ($9.4 million by today's standards) to a recipient of his choosing. The only stipulation was that the recipient could never disclose the source of the gift. Imagine what it would be like to have someone show up at your door with a cashier's check in that amount. What would your first thoughts be? How would you feel? Would you spend the money as if there was no tomorrow or would you carefully plan to invest it to make it stretch as far as possible? Would you spend it entirely on yourself or share it with others? While you may never find yourself at the receiving end of such a gift, it doesn't stop you from imagining what your life would be like should it occur. In actuality the wealthy donor is the Universe capable of bestowing abundance in all forms. All you need do is to be open to its availability to you. People do win lotteries and inherit vast wealth. If your first thought is, "Yes, but that would never happen for me", then most likely it won't. Open yourself to possibility as to what abundance would look like for you and say YES to it. It doesn't have to be money. What would you do if the Universe handed you a million dollars tax free today?
