The right thing

We spend so much of our time worrying about whether the action we have taken or are about to take is the right decision for us. We try to analyze the situation to guarantee a failproof outcome. This is an attempt to control our future under the guise of knowing what is best for us. A different way to approach this would be to make the decision based on what we know at the time. Ask for guidance in making a decision that serves the highest good for all involved. Then release the outcome for this or something better to occur. The choices that we make today may not demonstrate their consequences for years. You make a decision to turn down a job offer which everyone says would be perfect for you. Yet something inside of you tells you otherwise. You decline and years later an even more lucrative job becomes available which would not have happened had you taken the other position. What can make this approach a challenge is that you may experience feelings in the moment that are not entirely comfortable for you. Perhaps it is a decision that directly affects the life of another. It may be awhile before you realize that this served the greater good. Do the best you can in the moment and let it go for the Universe to take action upon. What are you wrestling with today that you are worried about doing what is right?
