Time will tell

We are living in unprecedented times. It has been over 100 years since the last pandemic began lasting for slightly over two years. The Great Depression began in 1929 and lasted ten years. For as devastating as each of these events was, we survived them. Today they are but a memory for the majority of the world's population. What they left behind was an opportunity to learn from them. This led to changes in how we develop vaccines and monitor economic shifts. What we recognize is the importance of having a plan to reduce the impact of these events on the world. It also means adjusting that plan as new information is revealed. The presence of social media allows us to know what is happening around the world at any moment to evaluate what does and doesn't work. We will move forward in time as a planet constantly working towards bringing what we know into alignment. We will not likely return to what was "normal," but will see the reshaping of our world to accommodate current events. Only time will tell what that will look like much like it did for the last pandemic and the Great Depression. As humans we are highly adaptable and resilient. What are you doing today to be open to what the world brings tomorrow?
