Turning off your automatic pilot

Until you begin to consciously redirect your thoughts, you are operating on automatic pilot. These are the thought patterns that you have been reinforcing all of your life. They are the result of experiences you have had and messages you have heard. These two influences feed into one another. What you have experienced generates positive and negative thoughts about who you are and how you see the world. The messages from others can color your experiences by defining what you must have or do to be considered of value in the world. If these experiences and messages are the source of unhappiness or discontent, then it is time to re-evaluate them. Make a conscious effort to participate in activities that support what you desire in life. This may involve limiting the contact you have with any negative influences which is about turning off your automatic pilot. Maximize doing what brings you the objects of your desires and watch what you begin to attract. What are the influences that you have that have been automatic for you up to now and what are you willing to do to change them?
