Unexpected opportunities

While it is important to set goals and intentions, it is equally important to let go of how they will show up in your life. When you attempt to control the outcome, you are engaged in what is referred to as outlining. You become so focused on a set path for achieving that goal that you may overlook unexpected opportunities. You may be focusing on accumulating a specific amount of money and believe that it will manifest through winning the lottery. In the meantime you may miss a business opportunity that would have provided you with substantial financial resources. You may have your sights on purchasing a particular home and pass by another that would have been an even better fit. The point is to be open to a number of ways that your goals and intentions may manifest. Always ask for “this or something better”. The universe will always deliver in its own time. That delivery date is not in your control and requires trust and patience. Letting go of the “how” allows the universe to create the object of your desires in ways that you can never imagine.
