What goes around

One of the spiritual laws is the Law of Reciprocity. You have probably been hearing about it most of your life. It basically states that whatever you are putting out into the world returns to you in some form. When you act kindly towards others, you will find people acting acting in the same manner towards you. If you are a person who spends time engaging in hurtful acts towards others, it wouldn't be surprising to be at the receiving end of such acts. This law acts much like a boomerang. What you send out returns. There are consequences to the choices we make. It is not likely that one isolated action will bring about such consequences. When you adopt a way of interacting with others that becomes consistent and persistent, you begin to see the Law working in your life. Some people even go so far as to believe that the way we treat our planet results in reciprocity from it. This is based on the fact that everything is composed of energy which can respond to external influences. Look for examples of how this Law is present in your life today. Do more of what brings about positive results and look for ways to alter any behavior that may be returning negative ones. Also know that whatever you are depositing into your karmic bank account is gathering interest. Nothing goes unnoticed in the universe.
