When all is said and done

At the end of our lives it won't matter what our bank account looks like or how many material things we have accumulated. What will matter is the effect our being here has had on others. How do you want to be remembered? Will it be for the love and joy you brought into the world? Or will it be for the sorrow and sadness you created? Both sets of feelings are the results of the choices we make each day. At any given moment you can change the course of your life in either direction through what you say and do. Now is the time to take stock of the legacy you will be leaving and determine where it is heading. Pause to consider two individuals you know, one who left a negative and one who left a positive impression of the life they left behind. Even after decades or centuries their legacy lives on. There is no way you can avoid the same. No one enters this life without somehow affecting a change upon it. After all is said and done, what will that be for you when you leave this earthly plane?
