Your circle of friends

In today's world our circle of friends can extend beyond neighborhood boundaries. Today I am in Germany visiting with friends who live there. I have the pleasure of watching their son grow up and see the changes that have occurred in the past five years for him. What I observe is the character of those in my circle of friends. These are people who are loving and caring of those around them. Our conversations center on the good that is happening in our lives and our plans to be present with each other in the near future. I also learn more about the world as seen through the eyes of others. I see how much we are alike as to what we deal with on a daily basis. The challenges and triumphs of life are not as different for them as they are for me. When I think of those in my circle of friends, I feel a warmth and sense of joy since they are a reflection of how I choose to see and live life. We hear that we are judged by the company we keep.
