Your lfe may depend on it

There is a connection that we share with everyone on this planet. Think of the power that accompanies this connection. It is the connection that causes people to rise to face a crisis or to right an injustice. Think of the last time you attended a large public event like a football game or a concert. Could you feel that connection with others at the event? Imagine how that energy could be used to focus on creating good. I had the misfortune of learning of the recent homicide of someone I knew. He lay dying on the sidewalk for several hours crying out for help. Not one person who heard his cries reached out to contact the police or went to his aid. Yet those same people were interviewed later and said that they were aware of the cries for help. A life could have been saved if people had honored their connection to others. What is it within each of us that may be blocking that connection? It is up to each of us to look within and decide the importance of addressing this part of us.
