Your many facets

You shine with the brilliance beyond that of the most beautiful of all jewels. You possess a multitude of qualities that set you apart from every other human being on this planet. These qualities include your skills, talents, and aspirations. Suppose you have a talent for music. You have the gift of a beautiful voice. You study vocal technique and rehearse for hours to further develop your gift. You share your gift with others through song allowing them to be transported to a place where they feel an incredible sense of peace. Or you have the technical skills needed to invent a new device that connects people from all over the world instantaneously. No such person exists who only possesses one facet. Our other facets may include compassion, unconditional love, generosity, and creativity. The list of facets goes on and on. It is your responsibility to identify these many facets. There may be other facets of you that are present and need to be recognized for how they may be playing themselves out in your life. We also possess the facets of violence, jealousy, and prejudice.
