Your plot in life

Imagine that the day you are born you are given one acre of land to tend for the rest of your life. This plot of land will serve as the source of all you need to sustain your life. How would you care for it? Would you consciously choose what you would plant to provide food? Would you build a structure that would protect you from the elements? Would you allow parts of it to go untended with little to show for it through the years? This plot of land represents the life you have been given. The results are based on what you choose to do with it. Like the acre of land, your life is defined by specific boundaries. It has a beginning and an end. Will you leave it more fertile than the day it came into your possession or will you leave it undeveloped? Each morning think about how you would tend to your plot based on your vision of what you wish for it to be. What are you doing to tend to your plot today?
